I know this is Dance but...

This song just didn't make me feel like dancing. And you know what? That's a really good thing. This song has feeling to it. It's not just a dance song. It's impressive. It's one of those songs where I just want to sit back and enjoy every thrilling second and every little detail. The whole thing blends together so well. It's not only epic and beautiful but raw and energetic too. Very good job with this one.

I really appreciate reviews like this. I'm very pleased I could entertain you and ensnare your senses. It's not so much dance as Hard Acid, but there's not really a section for that, and I considered it more Dance than Techno.

Awww it ended

It may be simple but it's definitely a fun listen. I can see what you envisioned with the whole time traveling thing. Although being a Doctor Who fan it sort of distorts that vision a bit for me but that doesn't matter. What you have here is quite excellent so far. You need to finish this! Just fix some of the volume issues and balance everything out and you'll have such an amazing song here. Great job.

Heh, thanks, this comment really made my day :). Thanks for giving me the encouragement to finish this; currently I have loads to do including a lot of people who I owe reviews to, updating the Review Request Club, making music for a film company, a game and 2 flash artists, making a song for Robot Day and obviously RL things, so it's really hard to find a time where I say "Hmm, what to do next?" lol.

Whatever, I complain too much xP. Thanks for the awesome review man, I totally agree with you on the balancing and volume stuff, it's probably the main thing which needs fixing in this song, although if you check, you'll see that all of my recent WiP's have horrible mixing and EQing. I tend to do all that after the song is finished, not while I'm doing it :P. Thanks again!

Good stuff once again.

Well first of all let me say this. I liked it. It had a good melody and the song was constructed quite well. I only have 2 complaints about this song. First of all, the part that comes in at 1:17 just feels awkward to me and out of time with the rest of the song. It feels rather random. Secondly it feels like you could add just a little more to the song to give it a small boost. It feels like it just needs something more. Just keep at it and you'll make something truly amazing I'm sure :)

Yeah I thought it soinded out of time a ittle too, but i really liked that melody and i didnt wanna change it. I think i fixed the timing issue though. Lemme know if its any better :)

You don't suck.

It sounds like you just don't know exactly what you're doing. I made songs that sound like this about a year ago when I started getting into FL. My suggestion would be to watch some videos on youtube and do some research online. Just watch what others do and then emulate it until you've got it down and then add your own twist to it. You'll have it down in no time :) Oh and from the sounds of it, you've got some decent ideas in terms of melodies. Practice makes perfect ;)

Oh boy...

You're messing with a song by my favorite artist of all time! To be honest it sounds really... off. When it slows down, it kind of just happens. Its rather uncalled for. The whole song seems to be a rather low quality, the drums get kind of annoying and they seem to stutter a lot. If the quality was better and the drums sounded better, the song overall would be much cooler. Nice try though.

The programs used made it have a faster play rate, causing internet slowdowns.
The drum set I used was snare and then phased. Most of the time, my exports are retarded and slow down or go off-track.

Instantly catchy

I just hit play and my first reaction was "damn!" The intro is, simply put, amazing!
As the song goes on, it sort of weakens a bit. The "That's Right" Needs some work and I agree with what Naerbu said. It sounds like you're using the crash and (clap I think) that came with FL Studio, I could be wrong, and if I am, i apologize. While you use them to good effect, they're not very good samples. I'd love this song even more if you had different ones. Anyway, good job, and keep it up!

The "Thats right" is not really needed, and it was pretty personal that I put it there. There is so many other better vocals that I could have used too...

The crash is the standard that came with FL studio. Im shocked that you could hear that :O, its just lazyness form my part, its so simple to just use another sample..

For your first song in Fruity loops this is good. It sounds like you took the time to learn before you jumped in. All I can really say about this is that its a good start, keep it up :)

[The Concerto of Time]

Hmm

I think I like this even better than the Nintendo Concerto. Each portion of the song still sounds amazing and each transitions quite smoothly. Oh and one other thing, define "cool" OOT music. I love all of this music as it is, and you made it better.
